Our Vision
About Us
Angi’s Louisiana Kitchen was the vision of Spencer Theard (a New Orleans, LA native), which he shared with his wife Angela Theard (a native of Fort Worth, TX). Spencer had been in the Restaurant & Bar business for over 35 years at the world-famous Pat O’Brien’s and felt that “Customer Service” was lacking in the customer service industry. Angela, previously owned a small catering business “Angi’s Delights”, for over 15 years. Together they have over 50 years of combined experience and a love of cooking and both believe in quality customer service.
Transitioning from New Orleans to the Fort Worth area, we wanted to bring some of the rich New Orleans traditions and history that is rooted in Food & Love and share it with the DFW Metroplex Area.
Business vision:
Angi’s Louisiana Kitchen will provide quality, authentic Louisiana-style cuisine to our community conveniently and affordably to enhance the quality of our community and customers’ lives. Our core offerings will be freshly made authentic Gumbos, Red Beans & Rice, Crawfish Etouffee, and Seafood Pasta. We will use a combination of locally sourced and Louisiana-sourced products.

Legit Cajun food. Red beans and rice exceeded most that I’ve had in the many, many Cajun restaurants where I’ve ordered it. Delicious! Their rum cake was astounding. I must hunt them down so I can have it again and again.

Had Angi’s out at Revolver Brewing a few weeks back. Really good cajun. Way more authentic than our Tony Chacheres Creole seasoned Red Beans and Rice.

Awesome culinary experience! Had the “Angi’s Trio.” And was delighted that was an option as I couldn’t decide what to try! And I must say I was taken on a flavor adventure! Personally I had the crawfish etoufee, their red beans and rice and the seafood gumbo. All of them were exceptionally good, and one thing I really appreciate in particular was their red beans and rice. They weren’t overly salty but still packed with flavor. Delicious and rich but not overbearing. Would 10/10 recommend Angi’s!

I just had some seafood gumbo from Angi’s and it was the bomb. I haven’t had good gumbo since I moved to Texas in 2005. I’m from New Orleans born and raised and it really took me back home. I can’t wait to try the shrimp poboy because the shrimp in the gumbo was so juicy and soft.
I give the 5 stars!
